Fishers of Men

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal live. John 3:16 (NIV)

When looking into various sauces or rub combinations, you may want to think about a nice appetizer too add to your repertoire. Taking the basic recipe below and adding a twist, will allow you to place your own special signature variation on this dish. As a tasty precursor to whet the appetites of your guests, you'll find it not only easy to make, but quite the crowd pleaser.

Grilled Stuffed Jalapenos is a great idea for setting yourself apart from the rest of the backyard hacks who know nothing about grilling or smoking a great meal. Of course this tasty sensation has been around for awhile, but it can be tailored with special ingredients that will set yours apart from any other.

For this event to truly be done the right way, we would suggest that you acquire a Chile Grill. This device is a simple metal cooking stand that provides a way for Chile peppers to stand upright inside the grill while they roast. As the Chile pepper cooks, the bubbling cheese mixture and bacon wrapped exterior will contain the succulent juices from dripping into the abyss underneath.

The basic ingredients for this dish are as follows:

* Jalapeno Chile Peppers
* Cream Cheese
* Bacon
* Minced Garlic

Optional Ingredients

* Onion
* Italian Sausage
* Parmesan cheese
* Mozzarella cheese
* Monterrey Jack cheese
* Salsa

Remove the tops and internal seeds from the Chile peppers. If they are spicy, you may want to wear gloves to prevent the juice from interacting with eyes etc.

Dice garlic and onion into small fine pieces. You can also use a food processor to chop up to desired consistency. Add cream cheese and other ingredients together with garlic and onion. Once the mixture has been properly folded together, places each into the Chile grill stand. You may need to insert a toothpick horizontally to keep it from dropping through the hole.

Insert mixture into the cavity of each pepper and wrap top with bacon. Insert the existing toothpick through the bacon to keep it in place.

Set on rack inside the pre-heated grill until bacon is thoroughly cooked and oozing with goodness. Serve with salsa garnish...delicious!

Add a signature dish to your grilling repertoire... Turn on your passion for creating awesome Summer Meals on the grill.
